Pu­blic Park Trans­wi­jk

Park Transwijk is a large park, located between the districts Transwijk and Kanaleneiland, where events and activities are regularly organized. For example, there is the annual Bevrijdingsfestival and children can come and cuddle with the animals of the city farm every day.

Park Transwijk is a spacious park where many events such as concerts and festivals are organized. The annual Bevrijdingsfestival on May 5th is one of the best known and biggest events. The park also houses a city farm, the Eilandsteede. Here you will find childcare, school gardens, a petting zoo, a construction playground and toilets. Eilandsteede is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and also on Mondays during holidays.
