Pan­ca­ke re­stau­rant Thee­huis Rhi­j­nau­wen

Theehuis Rhijnauwen, meaning ‘tea house Rhijnauwen’, is an authentic tea house with a beautiful garden and terrace. The tea house is home to a pancake restaurant, serving traditional sweet and savoury Dutch pancakes. The restaurant is located in a fantastic spot right next to the river Kromme Rijn and in the middle of the woods of the Rhijnauwen estate.

The restaurants surroundings offer plenty of options for a day out. There’s lovely walking and cycling paths and the river is the perfect place to go canoeing or to rent a boat. A visit to Fort Rijnauwen is also well-worth the time. Theehuis Rhijnauwen is an ideal place to visit with children. The restaurant offers colouring pages, high chairs, a nice children's corner and of course the tastiest children's pancakes. Outside there’s a fantastic playground which children cannot get enough of. There are also two donkeys, Carlos and Isabella, and a number of goats that you can see up close.
