5 Pride Events in Utrecht
Utrecht Pride 2026 is coming! On Saturday, June 6, the city center will be bursting with color, love, and pride. From the iconic boat parade to the Pride Café inside the Dom Tower (!) and after-parties lasting into the wee hours: Utrecht celebrates the freedom to be completely yourself. Pride Café in the Dom Tower
Did you know that the Dom Tower and the Dom Church have played a special role in Utrecht’s LGBTQIA+ history? During Utrecht Pride, the iconic Dom Tower serves as the backdrop for the Utrecht Pride Café. On June 3, 4, 5, and 7, you can enjoy a varied program here, including Queer Hitsterbingo XXL, a Pride Pub Quiz, performances, talks, a community night, and film screenings.
Boat Parade
Starting at 1:30 p.m., the most colorful parade of the year will once again sail through Utrecht. More than 50 boats will cruise along the Singel and Oudegracht, coloring the city in every shade of the rainbow. Along the route, thousands of visitors will cheer on the participants while organizations from the LGBTQIA+ community proudly showcase themselves.
Street parties
After the boat parade, the party continues in the city center. From 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, head to the Pride Stage on St. Jacobsstraat, the Janskerkhof, and in front of TivoliVredenburg, where music, dance, performances, and DJs create a festive atmosphere.
Afterparties
After the street parties, you can keep the party going at one of the official Utrecht Pride afterparties. Visit the Wild ‘n Sweet Festival at TivoliVredenburg, dive into the night at PAX-ROMANA in BASIS, or dance the night away at NAR …IsBurning. Club Poema, KABUL à GoGo, WAS., EKKO, and De Helling are also hosting special Pride editions of Janey, Collective PRIDE, FLUID, XO Pride, and PERRX, featuring a mix of house, techno, pop, and queer club culture.
Tweetakt Festival
Tweetakt Festival also takes place during Utrecht Pride. At various locations throughout the city, you’ll discover theater, performance, and visual art by creators exploring current themes such as identity, inclusivity, and queer perspectives.
