miffy square

On the corner of the Van Asch van Wijckskade and the 1e Achterstraat you will find the nijntje Pleintje (miffy Square). This square is named after the little white rabbit miffy. miffy, created and drawn by Dutch artist Dick Bruna, is one of the most famous residents of Utrecht. At the square you can find a sweet and simple miffy statue, made by Bruna's son Marc Bruna. Enjoy this quiet corner, surrounded by houses, water, benches and greenery.
