De Vingerhoed

Eetcafé De Vingerhoed can be found in one of the most beautiful spots in Utrecht, between the Wed and the Oudegracht. You can enjoy a hearty lunch with thick sandwiches and toasted sandwiches, while the dinner menu features classics like steak, veal schnitzel, and lamb chops. De Vingerhoed is also the perfect place for a good glass of wine or a specialty beer.

De Vingerhoed is a traditional brown café with a long history. Its name comes from the shirtmaker who occupied the historic building until the early twentieth century. The long counter, now serving as the bar, is a reminder of that time. At the back, the building overlooks the Oudegracht, while at the front, you can enjoy the lively atmosphere on the (heated) terrace at the Wed.
