There is a local shop in Utrecht-East that does not make life more complicated than it needs to be, but it does make it taste better. It is a shop where you buy cheese and jam!

Not just any cheese and jam… The range varies from North Sea cheese to espresso cheese, but of course the delicious Oudegracht cheese from Utrecht is also available. You will find a number of top foreign cheeses here as well, such as Anton's Red Sweetie from Germany.

Jam and cheese naturally go well together. At ‘De Smaak van Max’, the jam itself is made from seasonal fruit that would otherwise be thrown away. Second chance fruit. The jams have special flavors. From stewed pears to raspberry & rhubarb and even zucchini & orange!
