BADHU

BADHU is a restaurant serving small Arabian dishes to share (mezze). They work with several fusions combining flavors from Morocco, Egypt, Algaria, Lebanon and so on. Pair your dishes with a Moroccan beer, their own BADHU brew, a local draft or a classic Kornuit. BADHU also serves Moroccan wines, homemade cocktails with an Arabian twist, fresh lemonades and healthy smoothies. BADHU is open for breakfast, lunch, diner, drinks, meetings and you even can spend the night in the beautiful hotel.

BADHU is located in a beautiful corner building and was built in 1927. It was designed by Petrus Johannes Houtzagers in the renowned 'Amsterdamse School' style. Up to the mid sixties the building was used as a bath house for the neighbourhood. Afterwards it was transformed into a health centre and in 2008 it was renovated to become a restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and eclectic with an industrial vintage decor enriched with elements of the Middle East. You can either lay back into one of the comfortable couches or take a seat at tables made from local wood paired with Eames chairs. These front areas are former waitingrooms; this is where the visitors got changed before entering the bath house.

When the weather allows it you can enjoy the sun from sunrise to sunset at the corner terrace. BADHU hotel and Loft are located on the first floor.
