Fes­ti­val TREK

From Thursday 21 to Monday 25 May 2026, Griftpark in Utrecht will be transformed into a lively, Burgundian village during Festival TREK. The largest travelling food festival in the Netherlands returns for its twelfth season, bringing with it a mix of good food, surprising entertainment and a relaxed festival atmosphere.

Spread across the park, you will find carefully selected food trucks offering a varied selection of burgers, pizzas, bowls, vegan dishes and other summer flavours. There will also be various bars and specially designed terraces, such as a wine terrace, a beer garden and a cocktail bar. There is something to do everywhere on the site.

Entertainment also plays a major role. Street theatre, cabaret and performances by regional musical talent alternate. In the evenings, the atmosphere is taken up a notch with the Silent Disco, the Record Bus and DJs playing well-known disco hits. For children, there is children's theatre, nostalgic fairground attractions and a range of traditional Dutch games.

Festival TREK is free to attend and suitable for all ages. The reusable glassware system ensures that the festival remains sustainable without compromising on atmosphere or accessibility.
