Saint Mar­tin's Pa­ra­de

Saint Martin is the patron saint of Utrecht. He shared his cloak with a beggar and symbolises solidarity and charity. This year, there will once again be a whole week of activities for young and old. The Saint Martin's Parade on 7 November 2026 is a magnificent festival of light where everyone is welcome. A procession through the city centre of Utrecht with light sculptures, orchestras, choirs and theatrical acts. 

Will you join the parade on 7 November? With a lantern, Christmas lights, reflective shoe soles, anything goes, as long as it gives off light! Together we will create a grand and magical light spectacle.
