Ut­recht Pri­de Boat­pa­ra­de

On Saturday, 6 June 2026, we will once again be celebrating Utrecht Pride, so mark your calendars! Cheer on, join in, support and enjoy all the participants in a colourful boat parade where everyone is welcome to celebrate diversity and inclusivity.

This day is all about celebrating love – love for yourself, for others, for everyone, for Utrecht. You matter. You belong. Cheer on the boat parade as it winds its way through the Oudegracht and Utrecht's canal ring. Let loose at the street parties and discover the night programme and all the other activities in the city.

The parade starts at 1:30 p.m. from the Bartholomeïbrug. The parade will pass under Hoog Catharijne at around 2:00 p.m., after which the first boat will pass under the Monicabrug at 2:30 p.m. From 3:00 p.m., the parade will approach the pink zone at the Viebrug. Visitors near the Hamburger Bridge will see the first boat arrive around 3.30 p.m., after which the first boat will reach the end point near the Tolsteeg barrier at 4 p.m. All boats will have completed the parade by around 6 p.m.! 

The boats come in all shapes and sizes, from small boats to large party pontoons, and represent various LGBTI+ organisations and initiatives. A celebration not to be missed!
