The canals, with canalside wharves and the stunning natural landscape on the outskirts of the city, are more than worth a visit.
At Sloepdelen (‘Boatshare’), we ensure you can do this in the most comfortable way. Our boats are beautiful, spacious and easy to operate. We want you to have a carefree time out on the water, which is why we will greet you in person at the jetty and help you on your way. You can also order a cooler with drinks from us, which will be waiting for you on the boat when you set off. Finally, our boats are fully electric, making them nice and quiet and very environmentally friendly.
Sloepdelen can be found in Amsterdam, Leiden and Haarlem as well as in Utrecht. We make exploring the most stunning canals in the Netherlands possible, all from the comfort of our boats.
Renting a boat
Booking a boat is very simple. You can check the availability on our website and then make a booking straight away. Our boats are large enough to accommodate groups of up to 12 people, and we are open 7 days a week from 10 am until 11 pm.
Renting a boat in Utrecht costs €55 per hour, with a minimum of two hours on the water. We also charge a €150 deposit which, after the boat trip, will be returned to your bank account within 10 days.
Our jetty is located on Hooghiemstraplein, northeast of the Singel, only a 10-minute walk from the city centre. This is where you will collect and return the boat.
