Or­gan con­cert Ger­ben Bud­ding and so­pra­no Na­net­te Mans

On Friday evening May 16, organist Gerben Budding and soprano Nanette Mans will give a concert in Museum Speelklok. This is the start of a series of four classical concerts in 2025 in the museum. The program of this first organ concert is a mix of French and German romantic music and works by Daan Manneke and Bert Matter. The large Witte organ from 1883 of the medieval Buurkerk, home to Museum Speelklok, will be shown to its best advantage by their program. In addition, the only real concert barrel organ in the collection of Museum Speelklok, the Double Ruth, will play a role. The question to the listener: are you sure you are listening to a barrel organ?!
